Tony Khan

Chef Tony Khan, a Bangladeshi born Australian citizen, is a renowned culinary expert with 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry around the world. His culinary journey began as an Apprentice Chef at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore. He later studied at Sydney TAFE College and Sydney University, where he completed courses in Human Nutrition. He also completed HACCP training at RMIT in Melbourne, Pastry & Bakery training in the Netherlands, and USPHD in Miami, USA.

Currently, Chef Tony Khan is the Director Culinary at World Kitchen in London, UK. He has previously worked as the Corporate Executive Chef for Marriott & Continental Hotel in Islamabad, Director of F&B at The Westin in Dhaka, and Executive Chef at Radisson in various locations such as USA, Caribbean Islands, Australia, Middle Eastern-KSA, PNG, French, China, NZ, Islamabad, Mozambique. He has also served as a General Manager at the Grand Sultan.

Chef Tony Khan has been recognized for his culinary excellence with many awards and accolades. He was awarded as the "Top 10 Chef" of the World in 1998 and was named "Chef of the Year" in Pac
ific, Papua New Guinea in 1994. He also served as a panel judge for Salon Culinary in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2012. He has also contributed recipes to two cooking books published in Australia, "Eat & Enjoy" and "Restaurant Secret."

Chef Tony Khan is also an accomplished television personality, having conducted many cooking shows and demonstrations on national television, overseas, and in Bangladesh. Additionally, he has established three hotel management and culinary institutes in Dhaka, Sylhet, Khulna, and Jashore known as Chef Tony Khan Global Institute.
